Project Description
We worked with Solent Mind to deliver a radical IT transformation within just six months. The project included migrating the charity’s cloud environment, refreshing outdated hardware, and deploying a secure wireless network across 11 sites. Alongside modern workplace tools such as Microsoft Intune and SharePoint, Zenzero also provided Cyber Essentials accreditation support. Outdated systems slowing growth
Solent Mind was growing rapidly, but its ageing IT platform was holding it back. The systems were unnecessarily complex, over-engineered and increasingly inefficient, creating additional strain for the in-house IT team. Instead of enabling agility and innovation, technology had become a barrier, restricting flexibility and increasing technical debt. To continue delivering vital services at scale, Solent Mind needed a modern, secure and reliable IT environment that could support both current operations and future growth.

Zenzero carried out audits and workshops to understand requirements, then created a clear transformation plan. Over 12 months, the charity’s cloud environment was migrated to Zenzero’s private platform, legacy apps moved to SaaS, and new tools like Microsoft Intune and SharePoint were deployed. Hardware was refreshed and Cyber Essentials accreditation achieved.
