Fourteen years ago, they were The Worst Team Money Could Buy
The Mets are now 14 games ahead in their division. It's still much too early to tell where they'll end up by season's end, but it's been a heck of a ride so far. :)
I do feel bad for KC Royals fans, though. Ouch. :(
