Today is National Homeless Animals' Day; a day to remember, educate, and advocate for all the helpless animals out there without homes due to pet overpopulation.
It angers me so deeply that pet owners do not spay/neuter their animals. I cannot even comprehend a reason for not doing it. Do they not know that every second, yes second, an animal is killed in this country due to overpopulation? What will it take to get this through people's heads? There are so many low-cost spay/neuter programs everywhere, all over the country. I truly just do not understand.
One day, I hope that it will be illegal to not spay/neuter your animals. I hope that breeders will cease to exist until every last homeless animal in our shelters is adopted and in loving homes. I hope to see the day when I don't see cats roaming all over our streets in risk of getting hurt. I hope that there will be much tougher laws and punishments for animal cruelty. But, most of all, I hope that we, the human race, can finally respect our family, our friends, the animals.
There is no soy in it... It is much better than Rice Dream- it's more creamy and just tastes better.. I know! I don't why I have them but not everyone does?? I need to investigate this further...
