1 year, 11 months - Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part 2 has made big waves since opening, and it sure looks like Warner Bros. has a hit on its hands. But with all the praise, there also comes a gnawing sense that whatever flaws Dune: Part 2 may possess, they’re being ignored in favor of many fans already proclaiming it as one of the greatest science-fiction movies of all time, and potentially as a savior of cinema.

1 year, 11 months - Dune: Part 2 has finally hit theaters. While the sequel wraps up director Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of the original Frank Herbert novel, it’s looking more and more likely that it won’t be the last movie in this series.

1 year, 11 months - We all know the biggest Dune news: The Dune 2 popcorn bucket!! The Dune Part 2 bucket is selling massively perhaps more than Dune theaters could have guessed.

1 year, 11 months - In today's Fix of entertainment news: The legendary creator of Dragon Ball and famed character designer Akira Toriyama has passed away. The anime and manga legend was instrumental is the artforms' popularity in the West, and he also contributed to several major games including Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon, and the Tobal series. In other news, Dune 2 director Dennis Villeneuve has made peace with deleted scenes, as in they were deleted for a reason and gone for good. Sorry, that very likely means no director's cut for the Dune trilogy is coming. And finally, Vinnie Jones has turned down an appearance in Deadpool and Wolverine. Apparently the Juggernaut just did not want to deal with that suit again.
