Daniel Baker
I completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Nottingham in 2003. Following a year working outside academia, I moved to Birmingham to do a PhD at Aston university, under the supervision of Tim Meese. This project focussed on the binocular aspects of human contrast vision, such as dichoptic masking and binocular summation. During this period I also spent several months at McGill Vision Research Unit (Montreal) carrying out experiments on subjects with amblyopia. I was then employed for two years as a postdoc at Southampton University, followed by a further 3.5 years as a postdoc back at Aston. In January 2013 I started a lectureship at the University of York.
