Only seven OECD countries have more than 100 subscriptions per 100 people.

Finland heads the list with more mobile broadband subscriptions -- 132 per 100 inhabitants -- than any of the other 34 OECD countries, according to the World Economic Forum.

Second place goes to Japan, with 116 subscriptions per 100 residents.

While all the Nordic nations placed in the top 12, other countries didn't fare as well. At the bottom of the list is Hungary with 33 subscriptions per 100 people. In the middle of the rankings is Canada, with 56 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants, a much smaller amount than in fellow Commonwealth nation Australia, where there are 115 subscriptions per 100 people.

The statistics are from the second quarter of 2014; no newer figures are yet available.
