Police warn of dangerous stolen drugs

Helsinki police have issued a warning about drugs meant for research use that were stolen in Helsinki Thursday night. The highly potent chemicals could easily cause dangerous overdoses.

Among the drugs stolen were fentanyl, heroin, morphine, cocaine and LSD. The drugs were all intended for use in legally-sanctioned research.

Police say that because the drugs are so potent that any user may run the risk of overdosing.

The incident is under investigation as felony burglary and an aggravated drug offense.
