Fujitsu red-lines 99 jobs in Finland

IT services and hardware company Fujitsu Finland has finalised its most recent round of lay-off talks. The company will cut a total of 99 jobs in Finland and make 20 posts part-time.

Some 1,300 personnel work within the affected departments, which relate to infrastructure services and associated operations.

According to Fujitsu, the aim of the reshuffle is, amongst others things, to lighten the company’s cost structure.

A previous round of employment negotiations took place earlier in the autumn but did not result in any redundancies.

Fujitsu Finland employs around 2,900 people.
