The labour action was called by the Service Union United, PAM, to push employers into making compromises. PAM says employers are stubbornly sticking to a raise of 0.5 percent, when the union is seeking a 2.2 percent raise as well as better bonuses for evenings, language skills and sick leave.
The entire 40-head telemarketing staff of Teleperformance, a company based in Tampere, walked off the job in the morning.
