Realtors see no change in home prices

Real estate agents expect home prices to remain fairly stable for the rest of this year. According to joint Nordic research, both domestic and international economic developments are being closely followed in the housing markets.

The Central Federation of Finnish Real Estate Agencies (KVKL) believes housing prices will continue their stable development. However, average prices for homes could be affected by current economic trends. The organisation does not rule out the possibility of a small drop in prices for houses and flats.

Half of Finland’s real estate agents believe prices for flats will remain the same. Almost a third believe the same will be the case with terraced homes, while only one third feel prices for detached houses will remain unchanged.

The KVKL survey was part of wider research on home prices across the Nordic area.
