Finland’s Krista Pärmäkoski took her second bronze of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on Thursday, crossing the line simultaneously with Norwegian Marit Björgen to share the bronze medal.
The medal follows her third-place finish in the skiathlon on the opening weekend of the games and brings Finland’s total medal haul to three—all bronze.
In front of the Finn were Swede Charlotte Kallay and the surprise Norwegian winner Ragnhild Haga, who finished more than 20 seconds in front of second placed Kalla.
The 27-year-old has only previously won one World Cup race. Riitta-Liisa Roponen finished in 20th spot, with Laura Mononen coming 23rd.
