Welcome to TFL.org approved fanlisting for the character, Scott Summers a.k.a. Cyclops from the X-Men animated series, comics, and movies. He is a mutant with the ability to emit optic blasts from his eyes, though he can only control them with special eyewear. His first appearance in any medium occurred in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). He would later make his animated debut in X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men (1989), and film debut in X-Men (2000). He is one of the first members of the X-Men team, though often considered the first.
