Short Description: Sonny's birthday is mere days away and it almost looks as if they've both given up. What's going to happen now?
I woke up to Sonny crying in the middle of the night. He was sitting up with his face buried in his hands.
“Baby, what is it?” I said, sitting up fast. He hugged me tight and cried into my shoulder. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong.” Sonny said in between hiccups and quick breaths. “It’s gonna be okay.”
“What do you mean, baby?” I said, pulling back to look at him.
“I never told you how Teegeeans got their names, did I?” he said, smiling through the steadily falling tears.
“No, baby, you didn’t.” I said, wiping his cheeks.
“Our names come from our parents; it’s a combination of both of theirs. My parents’ names are Skrilsa and Nallex, so I’m Skrillex.”
“Okay, so what does that have to do with why you’re crying in the middle of the night, baby?” I asked, confused.
He smiled the biggest smile I’ve ever seen and kissed me with a passion. He pulled back and took my face in his shaking hands. “The name of the Teegeean that’s been talking to me is Jolex.”
I gasped, realizing what he was saying.
“Baby,” Sonny said, wiping away the tears that began to stream down my cheeks. I hugged him as tight as I could as he managed to squeak out, “I’m pregnant.”
