Also, out of curiosity, who is going to be in Japan in April? I am thinking of going for about 3 weeks then, catching the G-Addict Live and the DGS event if I can get tickets. I want to skip going during the summer because I would rather not have to endure that kind of heat again unless I have to, lol... Looking at prices right now, it'll cost me about $400 if I use my mileage, $850 if I don't so it's not too bad ._.; Much better than summer I'm sure.
Wow, months since my last update. Hello~ How is everyone doing?
In July I packed up my belongings in Japan and ran off to Korea for a few days. In August and September I ran around the Tokyo area and played a lot before coming home to the States. In October and November, I have been looking for a job and failing miserably XD; And as of maybe half an hour or so ago, I finished NaNoWriMo!
Yay! This is the most I have ever written on any one story, and I think it is absolutely horrible (LOL) but it might be decent if I run it through a shredder of an editor. Who knows if I ever will. I'd like to try but since the story isn't complete, I want to keep writing it until I reach a satisfactory ending. While doing that, however, I wanna get something done for Dengeki. I have a couple of months for that, so maybe one to write, one to edit. But I will just hope that the one for Dengeki doesn't turn BL like my NaNo did... Almost 50000 words in, I realized that there was not one but two BL pairings in the story. ORZ. What I get for writing with no planning I guess. Oh, and my horrible brain, must not forget that. Japanese novel's protagonist is a girl though, so er... despite that, I somehow see darkness ahead =_=;
I've got a part-time job as an assistant in the mornings to early afternoons, and then I've been writing in my free time so I'm really sorry if I haven't kept with LJ or twitter. If I've missed something, please let me know T_T The people who post less on LJ have been around on twitter so I just hope that everyone is doing okay~!

How long has it been since I posted on my LJ... at least a couple of months. Must feel like an abandoned wife when compared to my twitter which I use everyday. ...I still check LJ but I just don't post, or comment, quite as much as I used to, which was actually not that much in the first place, LOL.
Lately I've been working on original stories so I haven't had the mental brain power to do other things like translating (I'm so sorry DRRR!! >_>;;) so I thought this was kind of fitting to try out...
...I actually have not read many of Stephen King's books. Just one. Maybe. And even that one, I think I only flipped through. I'm definitely not a person to keep up with famous people/fads *COUGH* Well, Stephen King is the result when I pasted in one of my LJ entries. I got Dan Brown when I pasted in one of my old stories. And then I got Stephen King again when I pasted in a more current DRRR fic that I gave up on writing. What does that say about me? That I write the way I speak and think, I suppose XD;
Life's been hectic since I'm packing up my belongings, and not quite sure where I'm going to end up two months from now, LOL. But I am still chasing after Kamiya, though I think I've calmed down for the most part. Calmed down in the sense that I don't go to Tokyo every weekend; I only go once or twice now, since I've practically cut out all events that are not Kamiya-related ^^; Three years ago, Kamiya was not even my absolute favorite seiyuu, so I wonder what other changes I'll go through in the next few years. I'll try to think positively and look forward to them.
Summer is around the corner, or swerving straight into view as I would like to think (orz), and I'm not looking forward to it but what can I do. I am, however, looking forward to Korea at the end of this month!!! VACATION!!!! Whoo!!

Today was the graduation ceremony for the third-year students at most of the schools in the city. I went to my base school's ceremony and... I didn't cry! Last year was horrible, which would have been worse if I had been wearing makeup but I wasn't, though I was this year so good thing for no tears! This past month or so has been very relaxing and... slow XD; Part of me cannot wait to get back to being thrown into the cycle of seiyuu events while another part of me thinks it's best I just... distance myself, lol.
But! I will be seeing Kamiya-san at 3 different events this month (don't know about TAF yet) so I'm sure that will bring me up out of this weirdly pensive mood I've been in. Two more days until I see him on stage, whee!
Other than work and bumming out at home, I've been translating the DRRR!! novels. Haven't done much, and only some of the chapters are up but if anyone on my f-list wants to read them, please feel free to poke me for an invite! I'm doing the DVD special novel right now though Shinra's phrases keep annoying me and I stop, LOL.
I still totally support Shinra/Celty, but I no longer want to touch Izaya and Shizuo with a ten-foot pole. That would be just... one very screwed up pairing. Izaya, I love you yet hate you so very much. I can understand you so well but I don't know if I want to. Instead, I will ship Shizuo/Verona XD; And Kasuka/Ruri. Mikado/Anri too! But I totally refuse Izaya and Shizuo. I thought they were doable when I watched the anime and in the earlier books, but the farther you read... no. Just... no =_=; I'm not against BL in the least but the het pairings in this series work a lot better in my opinion, without any forcing required. I'm not as bad as Celty, wanting to vomit at the thought of Shizuo and Izaya together but I definitely don't want to see it.
...Izaya should just love humanity, and stop trying to screw with it~~~~
And now I'm going to regress to my teenage years and watch Gossip Girl! ...After I make dinner.

Watched the Dengeki DRRR!! stage on the DVD and listened to Kida (Miyano) singing Linda Linda and just... ORZ. I'm looking forward to Shizuo's cover! ...OMG, will they make Izaya have one?! The thought itself just kills me. I wonder what song they would choose for Izaya to sing though, if they did... >_>;;
Am going to watch Kiramune Live tomorrow, before packing for my business trip. Today, I had only 1 hour of work so I ran an insane amount of errands (tortau- I finally got your CD sent out!! Sorry it took me a few months *sigh*). Couldn't get Rakuen no Uta vol.2 at Animate so I'll pick it up this weekend in Ikebukuro, I guess.

Celty and Shizuo's friendship is heart-warming too! She talks to that journalist about how strong Shizuo is with pride, and she considers him a good friend that she can open up to, and be frank with. Shizuo seems to consider her a good friend too, very calming influence... Where as Izaya... XDD; He's such a bastard, LOL.
Izaya, you are so complex that I adore you to no ends. I love complex/eccentric characters and Izaya, you are near the top, lol. He doesn't like Shizuo so he tries his best to find out as much info about him as he can, but he considers that action disgusting in itself but he can't seem to stop himself. He doesn't like to talk about Shizuo either, saying that as long as he knows, that's the crux of the matter. But can you say, hello possessiveness? XDD;
I know the anime is short, but I'm looking forward to where it ends. Because of how they've... cut up and sewn together the parts of the novel into what the anime currently is. The novels make more sense because the time line is complete and linear but eh, the anime is quite enjoyable on it's own. Will have to have someone buy me the DVDs I'm missing if I go back to New York *_*

Chinese/Lunar New Year is this weekend and I still have a whole bunch of cleaning to do, so just doing a meme to show I'm still alive XD; (People who requested drabbles from me, I'm still writing, ORZ, SORRY. I'm not a good enough writer to be doing drabbles in the first place *dies*)
Think I've have actually met a good majority of my f-list, lol. And I have a feeling I've known more of them for three years+ than I actually bracketed but I can no longer remember, or haven't talked to them in as long XD; I'm pretty sure a few of them have gone inactive but I just haven't removed them either... my f-list doesn't change very much, and I don't friend people now unless I've met them (ahahaha, I'm such a hermit).
I was thinking I'd post the meme drabbles at once but I think I should probably break them up, if I can. Gotta think of names too. Maybe before my nap, because my stomach is still killing me and I'm hoping some sleep will just help... since I can't seem to sleep well at night lately. Keep tossing and turning the last few days. I haven't started on the drabble prompts but I will do them in the coming week or so. In February, I have such a calm schedule (i.e. not leaving Yamaguchi), it looks like it'll be soooo relaxing!! YAY!! XDDD; Good, because I have no real money to spare, ahahaha.
Anyway, yesterday's FamiTsu public recording was A LOT of FUN! I'm looking forward to see how the actual show turns out to be. KaneTomo is... wow. She can seriously grate on your nerves after a while XDD But she's cute.
Onosaka-san was so energetic and all smiles so it was great XD; I loved how he and Kamiya-san ganged up on KaneTomo, lol. And he was throwing off so much appeal that it was just adorable. Trying to get them to make him MC with Kamiya instead of KaneTomo, ahaha.
Kamiya-san... Oh, how I love you. You are so great XDDD He was so cute on stage and seriously, just seeing the way he treats KaneTomo live... really funny. He looked like he was so tired of dealing with her and it was just entertaining ^^; And when he was playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii with Onosaka and then with KaneTomo. OMG, SO GOOD!!! He has actually cleared the entire game and is now collecting the star coins for a special purpose (he raised a finger to his lips and said "it's a secret" (OMG SO CUTE!!!) so I won't say) and so he was doing the assistant role to Onosaka and KaneTomo. They were competing against each other and when Kamiya was playing Onosaka (first), he kept helping him and teaching him things. They were having so much fun and Onosaka seemed to really like Yoshi~~wwww Then when Kamiya played with KaneTomo, he kept going on ahead and leaving her behind, LOL.
When they celebrated Kamiya's birthday, Onosaka sang Happy Birthday to Kamiya, and he was sorta leaning over and then putting an arm around his shoulders, and then sang close to his ear. Kamiya had this kind of exasperated smile on his face and looked like he wanted to say "get off me!!" XDD; They brought out a cake and it was really cute!! I took a picture... I put one up on my mixi but I'll post the better one from my digicam when I get back to Yamaguchi (forgot the cord). KaneTomo gave Kamiya and Onosaka eggs (why?!) as a present and then at the end of the show, Onosaka asked the audience to wish Kamiya a Happy Birthday and we all did. Thank you Onosaka-san!! He's really such a great guy XD;
They were playing Mario for longer than they expected to, lol, and the preparations took longer than they thought it would, so although the event was supposed to end at 8:45, it actually ended around 10:15!! I'm so glad that I got to go, and am now really looking forward to the FamiTsu update XD
My letter to Kamiya ended up being about 6pgs of letter stationary ^_^;; 3 hours to write. I hope he gets a chance to read it though I know he's really busy. I'm just going to continue to support him as long as I can <3 I could see him looking at everyone's faces during the recording and he really appreciates his fans so I hope his peak lasts a long time XD;
All right, now I'm going to go play some more KH! Let's hope I can finish a couple of worlds today XD
Edit: Supposedly Hatano-san is really ドS in 黒衣の公爵 so I'm really looking forward to it! One of the staff of MomoGre was fangirling him on her twitter XDD Fans of Hatano, I think it's really worth buying that CD, ahahaha (I already did, for Tachibana, but definitely looking forward to what she said described as (かなり？）狂愛な感じ XDDD;
Why did his DVD event have to coincide with Kuroshitsuji's event... T_T;
I don't like green or yellow at all XD; And eh, I'm a-okay with being seen as boring. I wholeheartedly believe that if you take away all the fandomish interests, I'm quite boring XDD;
