The Formula™ 1 - Valve waits for Riot to release Valorant. 2 - Riot invests millions in marketing to lure the TikTok generation to try FPS games. 3 - Waits for the Valorant hype to end. 4 - Valve drops CS2 and lures most of Valorant players into the real OG FPS. 5 - GG WP.- The new blue banner/logo is sending me some strong E-Sports friendly “competitive” vibes. Rebrand: Counter-Strike. Terrorist: Attackers Counter-Terrorist: Defenders.
- People who think Valve wants to crash the market are clueless. They’re trying to reestablish control and make things healthy again, balancing supply and demand to natural levels. But in doing so, considering how unhealthy things had become with artificially inflated prices,
- Until 2018, Souvenir Packages were dropped randomly to people watching the games. Imagine if Valve decides to drop CS2 Beta Keys to viewers during the Major Final. It would probably break all records and finish CS:GO with style. Hopefully it happens.
- Can we all agree this is the undisputed #1 Souvenir Charm Highlight? 😂
00:00 - If that’s it, it will be the lamest game release I’ve ever seen in my life, even more if we consider it’s CS. They didn’t even take out the Paris Sale. Nothing new, just the Limited Test is now updated and open to everyone. What a marketing waste. Unbelievable.

- While ohnePixel just turned $120k unboxing into dust, a random 18 year old, with 30 hours of playtime in CS, recently unboxed the #1 pattern Blue Gem Karambit worth $150k, spending just a few bucks. GG WP.
- CS:GO concurrent players chart looking like a cryptocurrency. From ~1.1M peaks in January, to 1.8M peaks in May, and now back to where it started, pre CS2, at ~1.1M.
- So... out of nowhere, one of the most influential CS Streamers, @Gaules, appeared in Seattle, just 15km from Valve Headquarters. Not only that, but since all the Source 2 leaks the past days, he didn't even Tweet about the topic… pretty weird as he used to hype it a lot... 👀
- Anubis Collection just got added as a normal case with a fixed price, with no need of a key or case to be unboxed. To me, this is the first indication that there will be changes to the drop system in CS2. Still a lot to discover.
