How many of the world’s problems are rooted in the reality that 54% of people in the US read below a sixth grade level? Invest in education!

I genuinely feel sorry for @brave. It's a great browser. It was such an improvement over @googlechrome, not least because of the ad blocking. But both have got nothing on @PerplexityComet. Just made Comet my default for both personal and work. It's really excellent.

Most U.S. voters (75%) consistently support the same party every election. Only about 15% are truly persuadable swing voters. The rest tend to sit out. This pattern has held steady for decades. Therefore, it’s more effective to cheat.

Sounds like every restaurant and coffee shop in Canada. It’s ridiculous.

Most US toilet paper is domestically produced but I doubt most people know that. It’s probably the best litmus test to determine panic levels.

I use Brave to avoid popups. Chrome is full of them and it sucks.

Canadians are way more afraid of the shame of saying no, so it’s expected everywhere now.

Great demo: proves atom-thin logic works. But Nvidia Blackwell on TSMC N3 packs 208 B transistors at GHz on <4 nm. That’s ~10⁶× more density & speed. Amazing research, still years from matching production silicon.

I honestly don’t want this. It’s way too paternalistic. At least for me. I don’t grow by being shielded from the challenges of life. Please create a way to turn this off.

I have grown so used to agentic functions in @PerplexityComet that I now find it pretty annoying not to have them in IOS. My iPhone feels like ancient technology in 2025.

Closing outdoor fitness facilities is not an evidence-based policy. Are there any serious scientists who are against socially distanced outdoor exercise? I really doubt it. Seems like these people are being proactive about managing their mental as well as their physical health.

Kind of fascinating how these discussions won’t leave my screen, so I’ll just say that saying “we won’t build things that violate the constitution” is not very hard even if Paul Graham is totally wrong (and I’m not sure he is).
