Friday Night Lights remain about high school football, and we re-iterate our disappointment that the Big Ten and the University of Wisconsin continues to infringe upon this great tradition.

- The WFCA has always supported reserving Friday night for High School Football, and the Big Ten and University of Wisconsin's decision to continue to infringe on that deeply-rooted tradition creates obstacles to the long-term success of the game at every level. #wisfb
- The entire football community is saddened to learn of the passing of Somerset coach Bruce Larson today. Coach Larson was a longtime, active member of the WFCA & we were very proud that he was named the National Coach of the Year in 2015. Our thoughts are with his family.
- UW- Whitewater’s Kevin Bullis is inducted into the WFCA Hall of Fame for his contributions as a head coach and assistant coach.
- The WFCA does not support Big Ten's decision to play college games on Friday nights. Further comment & info will be provided in coming days.
- UW-Oshkosh head coach Pat Cerroni takes his place in the WFCA Hall of Fame this year.
- Today would have been the WFCA All-Star Games in Oshkosh. We miss all the players, coaches, and fans who would have made it a great week, and the opportunity for the players to interact with the incredible patients and staff at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
- The players and coaches participating in the 2018 WFCA All-Star Games raised a total of $487,161.57 for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. We’re so proud of our players and coaches and blessed to partner with @childhealthwi
- Friday Night Lights are for high school football. Good luck to all the high school teams playing that great American tradition tonight!
- It is officially All-Star Game week! Players are checked in to either UW-Oshkosh (North teams) or UW-Whitewater (South teams). Stay hydrated boys!
- Congratulations to Sun Prairie defensive coordinator Tim Bass on being selected as the WFCA Assistant Coach of the Year for 2020/21.
