According to Deaner, the album title was chosen to evoke a "rainy, colder than Paris, Parisian place. The vibe of our record is like romantic and rainy without being as classy as Paris."
"Fool to Cry" was Ween's original submission for the Beautiful Girls soundtrack, replaced by "I'll Miss You" after the Rolling Stones denied rights.
