- Vanderbilt today published "The University and Its Purpose: A Declaration of First Principles." Adopted by Vanderbilt’s Board of Trust, the declaration reaffirms the enduring commitments that define and sustain America’s great research universities.
- Vanderbilt will require standardized test scores starting with fall 2029 applicants (current HS sophomores). To support a smooth transition, the university will remain test optional for the next two undergraduate admissions cycles to ease the transition.
