As a Black American, it’s beyond my wildest imagination to illegally enter another country, have my debts erased, receive job priority, and have access to free housing, food, healthcare, and education. Then land a government job where I’d deny those same resources to the citizens

It’s always the same pattern: once immigrants get comfortable, they call Black Americans “lazy” and “powerless.” But when ICE shows up or the system turns on them, they come running for solidarity. No amount of finger-wagging from performative Black activists will make me care.

African and Caribbean immigrants are not the same as Black Americans, and it’s time people stop lumping us together. Black Americans have been fighting to break the system, meanwhile Black immigrants are only focused on assimilating into that system and finding success within it.

Kamala Harris isn’t struggling with Black men because she’s a woman, Hillary Clinton got 92% of the Democratic vote in 2016. The real issue is the behavior of her supporters. Their nastiness, hostility, and entitlement push people away, making it harder for her to gain support.

Black women are the leaders of the Democratic Party because we respond emotionally rather than logically. The Democrats have exploited the fears of Black women to keep the party in line. If you think critically, it’s clear that we’re being used to protect their own interests.
