Just because women write M/M for other women doesn't mean it's not centred around men. If they're writing for other women, why they're not writing F/F? Why do they have to write about men? I'm a woman writing about women for women because I'm celebrating women and centering women

90% of my muted/block AO3 list is people that genderbend lesbian pairings into het/gay pairing. Personal preference is fine. It's just annoying that some people try to convince other people they're not centering men when all they do is write about men. That's my point.

People will not convince me it's not male centering to only read and write about M/M even if you're a queer woman doing so. It's worse, actually, considering how common it is for the female character in yaoi to be a vile antagonist in the way of your ship.
