I bet you had no idea that the modern emergency medical system and the first EMT’s were pioneering Black men from Pittsburgh who saved lives in more ways than one. This is the story of Freedom House. link.chtbl.com/obvkRMCh?sid=t…

Tamir Rice would’ve been 18 today. Tamir Rice should’ve been 18 today. Remember 18? How young 18 was? How hopeful 18 was? How on the cusp of everything 18 was? How alive 18 was?

To understand how we got here, we have to understand where we’ve been. This week, we’re telling the story of the only successful coup in U.S. history. And yes... they were white supremacists. Listen here! link.chtbl.com/into_america

“Stand down and stand by.” For many this presidential debate was an embarrassment. But be clear, there are people cheering right now, who feel affirmed. Those who relish in the bluster and bullying and lying and the refusal to denounce racists.

This yr marks the 100th anniv. of the Red Summer of 1919, when hundreds of African Americans were lynched and murdered across the country. Thousands more would follow. Lynching was used to beat Black people as far back into slavery as possible. The president is not being lynched.
