Maybe this is the response this article was intended to elicit… but *seriously*?! Wonder what the many powerful women in politics, economics, foreign affairs and security feel about it? @RachelReevesMP @KemiBadenoch @YvetteCooperMP @pritipatel @ChiefMI6

Over 18 months of debates, hearings and amendments failed to make the assisted dying legislation bill fit for purpose. So why is it coming back? @KarlTurnerMP writes

While the Press will be focused on the battle for the Labour leadership and Conservatives celebrating our win in Aberdeen, there are two people I want to pay tribute to. The first is @Winstamike who was an excellent candidate for us in Makerfield. He represented our party with

Absolutely infuriating that one of my colleagues has decided that what Parliament should focus on in the coming months - given everything going on in the world and here at home - is bringing back the assisted dying bill. Head in hands.

    1. This statement contains several inaccurate or confused claims. First, Edwards says the bill is only for those “at the very end of their lives.” But the bill’s “6-month prognosis” criterion is very broad: 1 in 5 of those eligible will actually have at least 3 years to live.

Today, former Secretary of State for Employment, Lord Hunt of Wirral challenged the Government on the concerning levels of youth unemployment in the UK taking us toward levels last seen under Labour in 2008 and the Government policies which have brought us to this point.

Labour's Welfare Secretary admitted to Peter Mandelson what he won’t tell you. Labour raised your taxes to pay for more benefits.

Labour isn't working. Kemi and @Helen_Whately right to call out anti-jobs measures Labour have introduced in last two years and are running out of time to turn this around.

Labour entered government and ⬇️hiked employers National Insurance ⬇️hiked the minimum wage ⬇️loaded new regulations on businesses The result? Employers stopped hiring young people. @Conservatives will listen to business, back more apprenticeships and reduce tax and red tape.

Awaiting the Milburn Review publication and let's hope it lives up to the hype as @ONS reports NEETS now estimated over a million. Labour Govt need to get a grip on the detail, U-turn rapidly on jobs burdens and the disincentives to work they have introduced in the last two years
