    Breaking: Bob Caslen officially resigned as president of the University of South Carolina after the board accepted his letter of resignation. Former USC President Harris Pastides agreed to serve as the interim president of the university, according to a press release.

    Breaking: Masks are required in university buildings, effective immediately, Interim University President Harris Pastides said in a Aug. 17 statement. This comes after the S.C. Supreme Court ruled it legal for USC to impose mask requirements on campus.
