    Mitch Marner was 12 years old when he saw Sidney Crosby score the golden goal. He just scored an OT winner assisted by Crosby for Team Canada 🇨🇦 International hockey is cool. We should do it more often.

    Joel Quenneville will be meeting with Gary Bettman in just under two hours. That should be the last thing he does in the NHL. Period.

    One thing to remember about all of this is that it’s not a flex if the player isn’t in your favorite team. This isn’t about X or Y NHL team or their fans. This is about a horrific crime being committed. Fandom has no place here.

    Taylor Hall has been deemed a locker room cancer at times in his career. Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith have been praised as leaders on every stage from the NHL to the Olympics. I think hockey needs to learn the definition of leader.

    The Red Wings currently have a rookie leading their whole team in goals, assists, points, wins, and save percentage. All of them also lead the league among rookies in those categories among players with 8+ GP. The kids are alright. #LGRW

    Hockey Canada as an organization needs to take a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves what they are doing wrong. This isn't on the players. This is on the management and coaching. Hockey Canada needs to figure things out.

    The hyping up of Logan Mailloux feels dirty as hell. We all know what he did. We all saw that the programs he completed had little or nothing to do with the sex crimes he committed. We should be asking more from hockey, the OHL, the London Knights, and the Montreal Canadiens.

    So people really aren't talking about Alex DeBrincat being third in the NHL in goals behind only Matthews and McDavid. His 32 goals rank ahead of Draisaitl, Rantanen, Crosby, and Ovechkin among others. He is also third in G/60 and second in G/GP. Pretty decent year.

    I see a lot of fans angry that Vegas is "cheating" but if we are being honest, if you're not exploiting every loophole and working every angle in a hard cap system, you're not doing your job. Maybe be mad that your team's management group isn't as smart.
