Parody account? Jeez. The pure myopic prejudice; the delusion of it all. We all evolved on our lonely rock in space; your festering bigotry is all your own.. your church infested with child abusers for decades. Millions of humans are gay. You people really need to wake up.

Here’s my recovery plan. 1. Teach everyone as well as you can, in normal school hours 2. Implement your existing curriculum as well as you can in normal school hours 3. Set a stack of nicely varied homework and reading 4. Ignore all the catastrophising and push on.

Blimey @educationgovuk @GavinWilliamson you’re so shit. It’s remarkable. Is there no limit to the shitness? Doesn’t seem to be.

Imagine teacher A is way more effective than teacher B. Tendency is to make B emulate what A does. I think this is wrong. We need to work with B to establish how B, a different unique person, can improve; not to be more like A but to be a better B. Laminate that! BE A BETTER B!

Here's how you respond when a member of staff plucks up the courage to tell you they're pregnant and will be going on maternity leave: Joyful; happy and excited for them. No problems; no fuss. Unconditional, undiluted support and gratitude. Anything less is bullshit.

No no no. Mocks?!! FFS. @GavinWilliamson - if you’re going to bottle it, just give the CAGs. Everyone has them, they were determined with a level of rigour.... Mocks aren’t proper controlled exams in many situations.... not fully graded. It’s just a terrible idea. Take advice!

F**k off Gav. Nobody trusts you. There is no ‘we’. The good will reserves are empty. Some schools are working today on track and trace from last week because you didn’t let them close; your cut ‘n’ paste guidance is unresourced crap. You’re a bad joke.

Seriously… piss off Gavin. You’ve shown your contempt for teachers enough for all to see.

I live near a primary school. It’s playtime. I can hear the sound of children playing for the first time in months. It’s rather lovely.

I'm thinking the most important thing students need to 'catch up' is to return to schools with great behaviour, great curriculum and great teaching... core stuff done really well, supported to the maximum. Give schools resources for that. Not bells and whistles. Not extras.

As a teacher, rule of thumb, if the story is this convoluted, it’s bullshit. Smacks of ‘I just touched him lightly on the arm as a joke and he took it all serious’.
