My story has so many similarities to Jen Hatmaker’s, but we’re in very different places with our relationship with Jesus - at least at the moment. I wrote a little about how that happened. There’s so much more to my story, but this is a start.

I am struggling to contain my rage at Christian leaders/pastors who propped up and enabled this treacherous wickedness, and have brought such utter shame on the name of Christ and his people. Shame on every one of them.

I was closely involved with much that's reported in this story. I was a longtime GCC member and a staff member during David Gray's tenure. I knew him and his family. I know some of the women referenced, and some of these stories. They are the tip of a toxic iceberg. 1/3

I don't know who needs to hear this, but a great test of a pastor's convictions that "women should be treated like fine china" is a biblical idea, is how he responds when a woman tells him about her husband's emotional or psychological abuse.

Life update- last Saturday I married this remarkable and wonderful man. I never believed I was worthy of the kind of love he gives me. But on Saturday I committed to steward it every day for the rest of my life. I love you, @tlberglund ❤️

One of @timkellernyc legacies will be his measured, gracious, kind, and dare I say it - Christ-like way of teaching. I can't think of a better way to honor him and his family than for Christian Twitter to declare a social media cease fire for a while. #timkeller
