Encouraging early 10-layer cell cycling results – now at 200 cycles with >96% capacity retention at 1C/1C and 25 degC, generally in line with what we’ve seen for our single- and four-layer cells

Thanks to all who joined last week’s earnings call. To answer some questions we received on layer count, the A-sample target is 2-4 dozen layers. B-sample will likely have more. Both ranges could vary based on customer preferences, cell design (energy vs power), and other factors

[Updated with Corrected Chart] QS cells being tested at third party lab have now achieved 1,000 cycles with over 80% energy retention, at a 1 hour charge/discharge rate and 25 °C. This is with our anodeless, lithium foil-free design.

The updated chart shows two cells that have achieved greater than 1,000 cycles and one cell that achieved over 900 cycles. All three cells shown exceeded the 800 cycles target with well over 80% target energy retention.
