- All the British holidaymakers stranded by Thomas Cook must be delighted by the EU law (Eu261) which gives them financial protection. Until 31 Oct at any rate.
- So ... we did this at the weekend. Smaller and different from how we planned but no less perfect.

- There's a lot of women queuing for Penneys today because they need pyjamas, along with baby clothes & underwear for kids. They're going early because they dont have to take the kids. Not because they "want pyjamas".
- "McEntee says Dublin is a safe city". Perhaps a more convincing image would be the minister walking alone at midnight without a Garda escort.
- Think @rte did the right thing by cancelling @JenniferMaguire debate. There's no debate on masks. There aren't two 'sides'.
- Tried to park in Lidl to get a few bits (NOT stockpiling). Waited 30 mins for a parking space. Drove away in frustration & found zero queues in local greengrocer, butcher & fishmonger. Sorted. #shoplocal
- Worth remembering that the Quinn Levy remains imposed on every single insurance policy sold today. Every premium, every person, every year. #QuinnCountry
- Easiest vote I ever cast. Also added fun with reporting 4 No posters across road from polling station put up overnight. €1000 fine each 😄 #repealthe8th
- Happy Christmas to the Barrister (self described) who complained to my (min wage) waiter son about a discrepancy between menu pic & dish received threatening restaurant closure. On Xmas eve. He was (unsurprisingly) dining alone. 👋
