in my profession i literally listen to stuff that isn't true all the time. i am not saying the DEI seminars were a great thing, but conservatives must literally be the most fragile snowflakes imaginable if they suffer psychological traumas from this.

When some people “get away” with a thing, they breathe a sigh of relief and figure out how to not get into a scenario like that. Other people realize that they can probably get away with that behavior again and get emboldened.

So the USSS thought the threat against the president was strong enough to surreptitiously remove him from AF1. And then proceeded to let the plane full of White House staffers and reporters take off and fly back to the US.
