What is Soup? Soup is a lab where I collaborate with teams to develop social experiments and curated gatherings as a form of top of funnel marketing, and use this as a wedge to gather bespoke unstructured datasets about human behaviors IRL and turn them into actionable insights.

The TLDR is this: as AI slop destroys public digital spaces, people retreat to gatekept, curated networks of value creation - the group chat. Once everyone decentralizes into their group chats, your digital marketing playbook breaks. Product metrics break. Soup has the solution.

Cooked the Unemployed Traders Competition last night with @edgeX_exchange and @EthBushwick. Went from ideation to 100+ person LAN party spectacle in a beautiful japanese listening room in 21 days. We create containers for amazing things to happen. Let’s make yours next.

Soup can do a lot for you. Some of the things we are making for teams you've heard of right now are ephemeral markets as a viral stunt, an occult invite-only masquerade ball, influencer tech, and cult community formation via augmented reality puzzles that blur digital and IRL.

There are many moving pieces and piles of ideology and basic truths I have about the world that inform my strategies, choices, and things I think about the future. Most of them are immaterial to the real question, which is "what can Soup do for me?"

Soup can do all sorts of weird and fun things. Our specialty is events that people will actually remember. You also get data, measurable outcomes, and can evaluate if it was worth it, instead of lighting your money on fire. Everyone wants to gather. Give them a space to do it.

I have some things to admit to. The ragebait tweet you saw from me? That was on purpose. I teamed up with @chances_social, @BAXUSco, and @tryspikehealth, and used pheromone science to throw the weirdest singles party in NYC. Read more here: notion.so/Love-Stinks-Fr…

Imagine you're in Buenos Aires for DevCon. You're bored of going to the same happy hours. Imagine you receive a beautiful invitation requesting your presence. Imagine you arrive, and are lead on a tour of a masterpiece: the Divine Comedy, told in architectural form.

It's not that conferences are low ROI, it's that teams approach them with no goals, no idea what they want, and no real plan. So they send their BD, who act like a plague of locusts, going from event to event, paying no attention to any of them. This lowers the ROI for everyone!

Crypto people love to shit on conferences 'It's low ROI' 'You meet the same people' They're flat out wrong. Here's the truth: Events are the most underrated growth hack in crypto - IF you actually use them properly. In my first-ever conference: - We did $100,000 in sales -

You're wasting so much money to advertise to bots, who outnumber humans on the internet 4:1.
