We want people to have easier access to urgent same day care. GP walk-in services provide more choice for patients while helping to relieve pressure on wider NHS services. Watch to hear what the service means for local people.

We are urging people to take extreme caution during a very high wildfire warning for parts of Scotland. To prevent wildfires: • do not use naked flames or light outdoor fires, BBQs or fire bowls • take all litter home with you including glass and extinguished cigarette ends
Please take extreme caution to prevent wildfires
“We have already seen the devastating impact wildfires can have this summer, not just here but in other parts of the UK and Europe. Scotland has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world and it should be enjoyed by everyone.

However, it is important that we all apply extreme caution to prevent wildfires and to ensure members of the community and our fire service are not put in danger.”

Neil Gray
Justice Secretary
