Climate Action Secretary, Gillian Martin, hosted a Debt Justice Roundtable with @sciaf and partners from Malawi and Zambia. Countries shouldn't have to choose between servicing debt and protecting their people from the climate crisis.

Last night, I presented my Debt Relief Bill to Parliament for a second time. It is unfathomable that any country spends more on debt than on health or education. This Bill would cost the Treasury nothing & compel private creditors to negotiate fairly. We need it now.
