this manga was canceled so it's not worth getting attached to regardless, but if the idea of a chubby girl love interest appealed to you, DO NOT READ THIS! yes the guy does like her but their dynamic does not become romantic until she loses weight, which he encouraged.

earlier in this special, an audience member talked about how utada's songs felt to him like they were about being Human more than they were about a man or a woman, so the music always felt like it was for everyone, and utada was so happy to hear he had that impression ;o;

not to sound soft as hell but i think meeting people in online games and having kind interactions and just having these temporary little friendships while you play together is very very good and happiness inducing and i don't know why people choose getting mad instead
