- I was terrified when I first met Jeremy Paxman in 1997, when I first joined #UniversityChallenge. Since then, we’ve had many laughs and put the world to rights many times! After 29 years at the helm, it’s Jeremy’s final episode tonight 8.30. You’re a legend, Mr P! #jeremypaxman
- We reach the Grand Final of #UniversityChallenge tonight 20.30 @BBCTwo and @BBCiPlayer. @amolrajan has brought his warmth and character to the show. The students come into the studio excited, relaxed and enthusiastic. Amol's persona is a breath of fresh air.

- That was the last you’ll see of that box that houses Amol's monitor. We will find @amolrajan a hammer at some point so that he can happily “delete” it! #UniversityChallenge will return with a new series this summer – we’re working on it at the moment!
- It’s the University Challenge final tonight at 8.30 @BBCTwo. The series ends with the same teams we had in episode one: @BristolUni vs @durham_uni! And there were only ten points in it in that first episode so this could be a real nail-biter! Good luck teams! #UniversityChallenge
- As Jeremy Paxman's final series of #UniversityChallenge nears the end, I miss the elastic band fights we used to have, until they moved our positions in the studio further apart for health and safety! I will miss my "TV Dad!" He was a great shot...
