- i rage quit from a job once, many years ago. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Got up and quit right in the middle of a 1:1 lol its like easily one of my top 10 favorite memoriesi wish i had enough money to rage quit
- theres this guy i work with who is always like "hey everyone, im sure this isn't important or anything and probably its a bad idea but maybe we should..." and then follows up with an absolute banger of an idea like every single time. I sit up in my chair when I see him unmute
- some homeschoolers i know have organized a co-op system for the next year, set up a guest house as a classroom and each parent will take turns teaching the group of kids. "this will be so much more efficient! why doesnt everyone do this!" lmao should i tell them or nah
- in a meeting i told ppl that i cant meet over lunch because "i go to the gym at lunch and if i skip the gym i get fat" and i got this direct message: "That kind of language reinforces harmful body standards. Using the word ‘fat’ that way can be triggering and is violent speech"
- its ironic that the environmentalists in the 70’s probably did more damage to the environment than anyone else in history by killing nuclear
- one of my engineers gave me feedback that he doesnt like when I resched our 1:1 the day of, w/o 24 hr notice, because thats the day he showers and puts clean clothes on if i reschedule w/o enough notice he’ll “have to do it all over again” another day i fucking love that guy
- my dad and I disagree on just about everything politically but also we are close friends right now we are coordinating a list of topics to bring up at the dinner table that will really stress everyone else out. we are going to each pretend to be really outraged love this guy
- making small talk with one of the moms (who happens to be chinese) at my daughters ballet class and i casually ask “which one is yours?” and she gave me a weird look and said “the little chinese girl” 🫠 now im in my car reading a book
