    Coach Van Horn gave me a hit & run against Baylor in 2002. I completely missed the sign and left our runner out to dry and he was thrown out. DVH was clearly pissed. In the dugout he glared and said, "I suggest you find someone to review the signs for you or you won't be on the

    A player last week drove from FB practice to my place to hit for an hour. During the last 15 minutes he hit w/ his earbuds in so he could listen to his special teams meeting. He never complains. Saying this b/c in a time of ‘kids need to be tougher,’ the tough kids still exist.

    If your Summer ball coach tells you that he can get you looked at by MLB scouts then he thinks you are gullible. You are either a pro prospect or you aren't. Teams have nothing to do w/ it. #eyewash

    For the life of me I will never understand baseball players not playing baseball the Summer before they show up on campus as an 18yr old to compete against 21-24yr olds that played all Summer long in collegiate leagues. I have yet to hear a good reason why.

    Thank you, @DBATSPORTS, for the honor of being selected into the Wall of Fame. I have spent the majority of my life with D-BAT as a part of my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Cheers to many more years and the continued impact of kids in our community!

    Connie Mack champs! Teams like this don't come along often, when they do soak it in. Some of these guys you will watch on TV whether as a pro or collegiate,when you do you will see it. Thanks @draftedangel_00 you are one of the best out there&thank you @DBAT_Elite for the support
