My main take from a recent YC alumni retreat is that while YC founders are smart cool folks, the type of founder who starts a crypto company is inherently different. Theres a little bit of a 'Bro' culture in YC, while the cryptoCrypto companies have a lot better options in web3 : @alliancedao being the closest equivalent ( biased as an LP directly and indirectly) .
