When Bitcoin came out, the only way to launch your own coin was to also launch a chain. Then Ethereum introduced smart contracts, allowing anyone to launch tokens without launching a chain from scratch. @zama does the same for privacy. Everything that used to be a privacy

A new major attack of TEE blockchains just got published, and it’s bad. The attack lets anyone with physical access to a TEE node in a blockchain access all the encrypted data in it. The paper even includes 4 (!) proof of concepts attacks on existing mainnet chains. Anyone

Some stats on FHE confidential token transfers: - latency: 22ms - throughput: 250 tps (on a single GPU server, 1000 tps on 4 servers) - cost: $0.00001 / tx Performance is improving 10x year on year, so we’ll be at 100k tps within 4 years

Great overview thread by @KyleSamani on why FHE / @zama will win as the tech for onchain confidentiality. The bottom line is that FHE is the only technology that offers security + verifiability + composability. It simply adds a layer of confidentiality to existing chains,
