He's in Alabama, stirring an angry crowd to boo a black man who dared engage in peaceful protest. These. Are. White. Supremacist. Rallies.

The president of the United States attacking a private citizen for exercising his first amendment rights. These "rallies" are so disturbing.

Don't tell me ending #DACA is about "the rule of law" while pardoning a guy who broke the law by denying civil rights to Latinos.

Christian parent here. We're celebrating. We're preparing our son to embrace difference, not fear or discriminate against it.

Don't tell me "gender isn't a factor" when Hillary Clinton is more despised for being cheated on than Trump is despised for cheating.

This is a common teaching in evangelicalism that has absolutely no basis in fact. From Hebrew Scripture to the N.T., care for the poor is described in communal terms. Entire nations are judged by it.

The same religious leaders who told me as a teenager that premarital sex was a grave sin that would ruin my life forever have declared that no one can fault a 17-year-old boy for a little attempted rape.

Jesus never told women to "cover up." Instead he told the MEN, if YOUR EYE" (not "their outfit" or "their proximity") causes you to stumble, consider gouging it out before violating a woman. Matt 18:9

Seems more likely to me that Kavanaugh was so drunk he doesn't remember the assault than that the lady who passed the polygraph conspired in 2012 with a therapist to fake an assault to take down a potential SC nominee in the event that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election.

Good grief. It's not that he uses "salty language." It's that he uses "salty language" while denigrating people of color and bragging about sexually assaulting women. If you act like "shit" and "pussy" are the problem, not racism and misogyny, you're deflecting.

Also? The people complaining about a Hollywood star "lecturing them" on politics ELECTED A REALITY TV STAR AS PRESIDENT.

Trump yesterday: "If you beat [protestors] up, I'll pay the legal fees." Trump today: "I don't want violence."

No one's being jailed for practicing her religion. Someone's being jailed for using the government to force others to practice her religion.

Stacey Abrams graduated with honors from Spelman, got her law degree from Yale, served as deputy city attorney in Atlanta and as a leader in the Georgia House of Representatives. Trump (reality TV star) says she’s “not at all qualified.” Don’t pretend this isn’t racism.
