We are temporarily shutting off power for customers located in the high-risk fire zone near Mt. Hood. We do this to protect lives and property during these wildfire conditions. We’ll restore power as quickly as safety allows. More info: portlandgeneral.com/wildfire

So far today, we have restored power to 49,489 customers, with 135,611 remaining (as of 9:30 p.m.). We have more than 300 crew members, contractors and other personnel working to restore power as quickly as safety allows — with additional crews expected Sunday. Given the extent

Portland General Electric crews are working to restore power to approximately 49,000 customers. The power outages are a result of the high winds in the region, causing many downed wires. Please stay safe and always stay away from downed lines and report them 1/2

Forecasts are calling for wind and weather that may threaten our ability to safely operate the electrical grid in some areas. Due to these conditions we are increasingly likely to call a public safety power shutoff (PSPS) in all PSPS areas. (1/2)
