- I'm testing "realistic" use cases of screen recording. Here testing @linear app with some 'tutorial' - and mouse traveling a large distance on the screen (how zoom and animations will behave). And also how will it 'feel'. I like the result. 90% I'll release it next week.
00:00 - I created a custom 'border radius' component that, besides classical 'radius,' also has a 'roundness' property. It allows for creating, IMO, a way more 'interesting' and 'appealing' effect. Fun fact - Apple uses exactly this for iPhone and other devices (99percentinvisible.org/article/circliā¦)

00:00 - I'm curious why Apple made this quite unusual design choice in the Messages app in iOS 17. I believe it was not a random decision and was justified in some way. But considering how "exotic" it is compared to the rest of the UI - justification had to be strong.

00:00 - I have an idea for a product similar to Screen Studio. It would automatically create text-based promo videos. It would detect the beat of the music and adjust all the animations, have tons of built-in, beautiful effects, etc. An example I really like: Apple Essentials ad:
