The Court of Appeal heard the Secretary of State's appeal in January.
The ruling is scheduled to be handed down at 2pm today.

- Tough guiding on a @WildTroutTrust Auction Day at Pickering Beck yesterday; low water & the chilly NW breeze killed off the expected Mayfly hatch with just a handful of duns & spinners late in the afternoon. Despite less than perfect conditions Richard managed to land 15 trout!

- Pickering beck is very low & clear but fishing v well. Fish rising to Dance flies & the first Mayflies. Use light lines, long leaders with size 18 & smaller flies unless the fish are really taking the big Mayflies. Fishing this afternoon was great. pickeringfishery.co.uk
