My dad fell asleep at work today. They didnโt fire him, but they fired a girl for the same thing a few months ago. So he texted her and told her to sue them.
Thereโs this plushie company that has disabled staff I guess and makes disabled plushies. They spelled a disability wrong on the tag and people were flipping out. They explained the employee fixing it had dyslexia but they are working to correct it. And people are still mad ๐ฎโ๐จ
I am begging neurotypical to understand.
Appropriate: โhey could you help me move this weekend?โ
Not appropriate: โgosh.. all these heavy boxes and furnitureโฆ all by myself in just a few hoursโฆ sure wish I had someone to help meโฆ but no one cares..โ

Donโt buy a homeless person food. Just give them the money if you have it. You think you mean well but what youโre doing is taking away their autonomy & ability to make choices for themselves.
My dad says they donโt pay him enough, so he works ten minutes out of every hour, because thatโs how much the pay is worth, he says. The rest of the time he just putzes around and plays games on his phone and drinks coffee and sleeps.
I donโt know who needs to hear this but a 5 year old only needs 30-90 minutes a day of homeschooling. The reason regular school is 8 hours is because you need to be at work for 8 hours under capitalism.
