- Every machine shop knows this to be the case. Would a really nice purpose built HMI on the mill be better? Yes, but it's expensive and complicated to set up, and the airgapped XP machine that has been running it for the last decade still boots and runs, so there it staysReplying to @homuraakem92126no matter how much sense that makes conceptually, any hardware change would likely require a full re-audit which is prohibitively expensive lots of very old hardware around that we still put up with because replacing it would cost millions
- I think the crazy part here is denying the claim. I hear stories about what the NICU nurses actually do and $425 to bring a baby back to life is an amazingly cheap deal in the grand scheme of things.our insurance denied all of our newborn’s claims which is something else i could rant about but we already fixed it with them. anyways i was looking at the bills from the hospital and they billed over $400 for them to resuscitating my baby at birth. that’s insane.
