btw, we have a graph with an automation that tracks every attempt on the upstream repo, neatly showing the lineage of attempts (also those that are unmerged yet, which are properly tagged as such)
New Modded-NanoGPT optimization SOTA: @tensorqt has achieved a 2925-step run (-5 steps vs. prev SOTA) by adding a late parameter-space extrapolation step to the previous record.
Novel paradigms require novel conversations.
We’re hosting a social in Seoul, during ICML, to gather the best people for those conversations, over a few beers.
See you there, link in the first comment.
as many of you are rightly suspecting, yes, this is a fully autonomously achieved world record, using flywheel (originating from an idea by @EmanueleRodola).
we have two more of these coming, from different challenges. the cool part, to me, is that this might be the first one
an impressive example of closing the loop, with flywheel as the autonomous research orchestration layer, built in just a few hours during the Hackathon we sponsored, here in Rome. Congrats!
We pulled off an end to end autonomous lab in 8 hours at HackRome! 🔬
From creating the dataset to training the robot policy and connecting it to an agent for automated use, we were awarded 4 prizes for the project. 🚀
Let's dissect this!
we started @paradigmainc with a clear vision to stop this from happening. it’s the hardest challenge of our generation, but there is no way in heaven or hell that we will let our continent slip into irrelevance while we’re still breathing.
Most of Europe has not yet absorbed what AI is about to do to us. The few who have are not saying it loudly enough.
We wrote Europe 2031: a five-year scenario of the continent's slide into irrelevance, how AI is driving it, and what can still be done to change course.
