How much of the driving test happens on a freeway? Nobody teaches anyone the right way to do it, some people just never learn and it shows…..

if only there was a recent holiday in the US where people could have experienced beer and BBQ. Such a missed opportunity.

Not sure where you’re from but both my tests in England at age 17 and California at 20 involved zero time on freeways. Having it be a part of the test is the only way to force people to learn and demonstrate it.

Rail tracks make more sense than roads. They’re barely ever covered, there is no direct contact with the trains running over them and there’s likely high voltage grid connections if the trains are electric. Roads have none of these benefits.

Strangely they don’t include the cost of labor and time to go to a restaurant. Transportation time, vehicle costs, parking, clothing costs. By the same measure I’m sure going out cost them >$100

The GTD brakes are good, but they're not F1 good. You could make the same thing happen in your daily driver car if you slam on them without telling your passenger.

In England churches have cellphone towers in the spires which creates a passive funding source for upkeep.
Heavens above! Church bell towers are ringing in better rural 4G

its almost as if they thought about it and designed the system in a rational way that would pass any sort of basic test or verification process.
