Not sure where you’re from but both my tests in England at age 17 and California at 20 involved zero time on freeways. Having it be a part of the test is the only way to force people to learn and demonstrate it.
Rail tracks make more sense than roads. They’re barely ever covered, there is no direct contact with the trains running over them and there’s likely high voltage grid connections if the trains are electric. Roads have none of these benefits.
Strangely they don’t include the cost of labor and time to go to a restaurant. Transportation time, vehicle costs, parking, clothing costs. By the same measure I’m sure going out cost them >$100
The GTD brakes are good, but they're not F1 good. You could make the same thing happen in your daily driver car if you slam on them without telling your passenger.
