Just signed on as a co-author to @realmitchlittle HB 151 which will cap the increase in appraisals for homestead exempted properties at 2% per year instead of 10%! Skyrocketing appraisal values and property taxes are overwhelming homeowners! #TxLege

The House is operating outside the bounds of tradition. Last week, debate was silenced and Conservative amendments were killed without a chance to be considered. Today, the Speaker informed us that the Housekeeping Resolution would not be considered by the House at all, again

Texans are DEMANDING ACTION NOW for quorum breaking Dems! If DPS can’t locate & arrest… We MUST: 1. REMOVE Vice chairmanships! (that they should have never had) 2. REMOVE seniority moving them to the end of the line for committee assignments! Or 3. VACATE their seats!
