This was literally a weekend project. I caught up with @aditabrm two weeks into YC, and he told me they hacked something together over a weekend that performed better than anything else out there. I still don't know how to explain that, other than they're just that good.

I've found that most of my use of tools like Claude Projects, NotebookLM, Paradigm, Gumloop, etc. are net new tasks that I wouldn't have even considered doing in the before times. Makes me believe that this time won't be any different. The bar will just go up across the board.

The "one person $1B business" thesis assumes there is 0 marginal value to an incremental human employee. The derivative "VC is dead" thesis assumes there is 0 marginal value to an incremental dollar of invested capital. Both of these are not true. The company that hires more

The way this will play out is a competitor will raise a ton of financing, invest more deeply in R&D, build a better product, and absolutely crush this guy with sales and marketing. You have to play the game on the field.

I want a text-to-voice reader app like @elevenlabs’s ElevenReader that actually understands the layout of an article and reads it to you like a person would - describing photos, not saying call-out quotes, etc.

My thoughts on Apple Intelligence so far... Reduce Interruptions Focus mode is my favorite feature. Genmoji is awesome and will probably see a lot of repeat usage. Image Playground is cute but will probably not be used much. Notification summaries are actively unhelpful.
