This is just a way for them to collect a national sales tax. Republicans love the idea of eliminating income tax in favor of sale taxes because rich people aren’t taxed proportionately.
They’re intentionally vague about the percentages they take. When I drove for them, sometimes I got 70% back, sometimes they took 70%. Sometimes in between.
